Applying for a school place for September 2023?

If your child is due to start school September 2023 as a Foundation Stage pupil, please contact the school.



The opening date for applications is 9 September 2022. The closing date will be 5pm on 15 January 2023.

Towcester area schools now fall under West Northants Council admissions. Please ensure that you select West Northants when making your application.

The West Northants Council portal is now open for applications. Applications close 15th January  2023. Failure to submit your application by the deadline may result in your application being treated as a late applicant and only allocated a place once all first round applicants’ places have been filled. Please do not leave your application to the last minute.

Children with SEND follow the same procedure as other pupils applying for places at the school. However, if additional staff, resource, support or changes to the fabric of the school are needed for the child to access the full curriculum, then these additions will need to be in place before the child is admitted.

How to appeal for a place at our academy.


If you have applied and been refused a place at our academy (in any year group), you are entitled to appeal against that decision.

Appeals for PDET academies are administered by The Diocese of Peterborough Education team. For more information on the process please see:

The pack includes some explanatory notes about the process of Admission Appeals and a Notice of Appeal form that, should you decide to proceed with an appeal, will need to be completed and returned by email if possible, but if not, to the Diocesan Office instead.



September 2022 applications

Following the National Offer Day on 19 April 2022, the deadline for lodging an on-time appeal is 18 May 2022 (5pm).

The Appeal Clerk will send notification of the Hearing (date and possible time) to the Appellants during the week commencing 6 June 2022.

On time appeals will be heard by 8 July 2022.

Spring/Summer 2022 appeals will take place either on Zoom or in-person at the diocesan offices in Northampton and Peterborough.

Proposed appeal hearing dates are between 4-8 July 2022. 

Decision letters will be sent within 5 working days of the appeal hearing, subject to any unforeseen circumstances.
